The Napa Valley Breastfeeding Coalition invites you to join us for a day with Kathleen Kendall-Takett, PhD, IBCLC, FAPA focused on the topic of maternal mental health and breastfeeding. She will discuss the influences of Adverse Childhood Experiences, intimate partner violence, birth trauma, and maternal depression on breastfeeding and breastfeeding’s healing impact on women experiencing these factors. You will also learn how these issues might affect breastfeeding, and what mothers and practitioners can do to help.  


What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Yountville Community Center is located in downtown Yountville just off hwy 29. There is a free parking lot behind the building.

Are meals provided?
A light breakfast, along with coffee and tea, and lunch will be provided during the conference.

Is my registration refundable or transferable if I cannot attend?
Regristration fees can be refunded for cancellations received by 9/13/19. Cancellation requests received after this date can transfer their registration to a different attendee with notice of the new attendee's name prior to the event date.

Do I need to purchase the additional ticket protection?
No, if something comes up that will hinder your ability to attend after you've purchased your ticket, contact us and we can discuss your options even if you don't purchase the Fan Shield ticket protection.
