Join us for Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 21 from 9:00 am to noon.
Litter pick-up sticks will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Gloves will be provided, and make sure to bring your own reusable water bottle. All other cleanup materials will be provided. Please wear working attire, no open-toed shoes. All youth under 18 require supervision and transportation to cleanup site.

Go in the water!


Pick up any dangerous or hazardous materials – including needles, syringes, ****** clothing and bandages. Notify your Site Coordinator immediately if you find any of these objects.


Pick up heavy and/or awkward objects such as tires or large pieces of scrap metal, unless approved by the Site Coordinator.


Pick up dead animals – Don’t stomp on bags.


Overexert yourselves! Take breaks and drink plenty of water.


Please DO


Use caution around creek banks – they can be muddy and slippery.


Stay clear of homeless encampments.


Wear gloves at all times.


Stay in a group or work with a buddy.


Be cautious of poison oak!


Lift with your legs, not your back.
