Church Girl Makeup 101 Class, la Madeleine French Bakery & Cafe Gwinnett, Saturday, 02. November 2019

Alisha Blanding also known as Alisha J MUA is a native Georgian and an entrepreneur.  She is known for her makeup brand Church Girl Makeup and has been a makeup artist for the past 6 years.  She has been trained by some of makeup artistry’s elite including celebrity makeup artists Synthe Online, Scoobie West, Alex Butler and Gwynnis Mosby, founder and educator of the Gwynnis Mosby Makeup Academy in Atlanta, GA.
Some of her work has been featured in the movie “Taken,” written and produced by Pastor Jenice Borges of the Vision Center Christian Church (VC3) and various fashion shows and magazines around the Atlanta area.
Alisha has a degree in Psychology from Emory University.
In all that she does, she gives glory to God because she knows that He is the giver of all things.  She believes that without faith she would not have accomplished all that she has been accomplish in her life.
Alisha realized that there was an interest in the church among females in ministry and female church attendees to know more about makeup, how to apply it, and how to make it long lasting, especially on days where there were multiple services.  As a result she was inspired to teach the "Church Girl" how to do their makeup.
In this class you will learn the basic principles for applying makeup that is long lasting, cry resistant, sweat resistant and beautiful.  You will also learn proper makeup application techniques for eyes, ****, and lips and techniques on successfully matching your own skin tone.  Additionally, we will review proper sanitation for brushes, sponges, and makeup.
Please bring your personal makeup kits for assessment and consultation.
***Note: This class will not include instruction on highlighting and contouring, however, be prepared to receive some awesome free stuff in your SWAG bag!***
