Featured Speaker & Worship Team
Jonathan Maracle & Broken Walls
Jonathan Maracle founded Broken Walls in 1995 af-ter he attended a conference where the speakers called for breaking down the walls that separate the First Nations People and other cultures.
Broken Walls consists of Jonathan, a Mohawk from Tyendinaga Territory in Ontario, Canada, Bill Pagaran, a Tinglit from Palomer, Alaska, and Kris Delorenzi, an Italian from Thunder Bay, Ontario. They base many of their songs on the ancient sounds of First Nations People of North America and often perform around their large Pow Wow drum, singing songs of and to the Creator. Their latest CD, “The Father’s Dance” is an inspiring journey and a call to freedom, with a dis-tinctively Native American sound, beautifully uniting traditional aboriginal sounds with a blend of contem-porary instruments.
Broken Walls ministers internationally, bringing heal-ing, restoration and reconciliation. They have per-formed in Peru, Mexico, China, Hawaii, France, Ger-many, Switzerland, Australia, Israel, Costa Rica and extensively across North America
