Georgetown African American Historic Landmark Project and Tour Discussion, Georgetown Neighborhood Library, Saturday, 23. February 2019

The project's virtual tour discussion, in commemoration of the 400th Year Anniversary of African American Resilience in the Americas, occurs  2:00PM - 4:00PM along with the marker's unveiling, UNESCO Site of Memory designation update, and National Park Service's future plans.  Meet with neighborhood property owners, residents, and others involved with the project. RSVP by February 20, 2019.
Space is limited to 12 persons for the research workshop (only) being conducted  3:00PM - 5:000PM in the Peabody Room of the Library. The workshop includes an introduction to the Peabody Room and actual research activities. Ideal for Grade 5 - postsecondary students and adults.
