We host regular meetups on Reshaping Teamwork -- an event series that’s dedicated to providing team leaders with valued content on cross-functional collaboration, especially within distributed teams. We cover various topics like UX Design, User Research, and Product Management where we invite industry experts to speak on their expertise, share best practices, and engage with the audience.***For SF Design Week, we want to host a meetup for the community of designers to explain the role of brand design in tech companies, how it's changing, and why it matters.In a booming tech industry in which all companies seek to innovate, design and problem solve across all aspects of the human condition, standing out as a unique company can be a challenge. This is where the importance of brand identity that is smart, sticky and emotionally resonant becomes crucial for a tech company to differentiate itself within a saturated and dynamic field of solutions and innovations. Bringing together three experts on brand design in tech from Pinterest, Dropbox and Cloudfare, Miro’s meetup aims to explore the way that tech companies can strategically bridge their visual identity with their product and company values, asking the question: who and what does your company aim to impact, and how are you going to communicate that through your brand design? Additionally, this meetup will examine new challenges and strategies in the tech that have motivated recent rebrands at prominent companies like Uber and Slack, and learn from these examples to better bridge brand design with the heart of a company.
