Navy Live Stream SBIR/STTR 2019.1(a) Topics Workshop + Homeland Security, Hardy Hall Rm 346, USM Gulf Park Campus, Monday, 03. December 2018

The MIST Cluster in partnership with the Mississippi FAST program and the Louisiana FAST program will be hosting the Navy's live stream WEBEX workshop SBIR/STTR event on December 3rd, 2018 on the University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach, MS. Come learn how your company can get a share of the $350 million of non-dilutive funds invested every year by the Navy for development of innovative ideas. The Navy SBIR Topics Workshop will inform companies about the just released SBIR solicitation. In support of this event, the U.S. Navy is sending the representatives from three of their System Commands: Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to present their topics during a webcast as well as sending a subject matter expert to Mississippi for one-on-ones. In addition, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will present their solicitation topics in prerelease well during the web cast.
The day’s agenda will cover:
• A review of each of the NAVSEA, NAVAIR, and DHS SBIR / STTR topics in their respective just released Broad Agency Agreement (BAA) solicitations
• 1-on-1 matchmaking conversations with a Navy Sea System Command Subject Matter Expert
• 1-on-1 matchmaking conversations with Ingalls Shipbuilding - Pasagoula Subject Matter Experts

Representatives with Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding's SBIR Program Manager / R&D Technology Implementation & Insertion Lead will be on hand to discuss in person how they work with the Navy's SBIR program.
As noted in the agenda above, one-on-one meetings will be available with the representative Navy SBIR Program subject matter expert who will be onsite and with the Huntington Ingalls representatives.
