Too Good for Drugs Curriculum Training, LifeBridge Assembly of God, Thursday, 07. November 2019

New River Health is hosting a two-day curriculum training for Too Good for Drugs.
High school curriculum training will be Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 8 am to 3 pm.                
K-8 curriculum training will be Friday, November 8, 2019 from 8 am to 3 pm.                                 
You do not have to attend both days.  
Lunch will be provided.
This training is open to counselors/educators from Fayette, Nicholas and Raleigh Counties. Seating is limited: preregistration is required.

Too Good is a comprehensive family of evidence-based substance use and violence prevention interventions designed to mitigate the risk factors linked to problem behaviors and build protection within the child to resist problem behaviors.
Too Good develops a framework of social and emotional skills through the development of goal-setting, decision-making, emotion management, and effective communication skills in addition to peer-pressure refusal, pro-social bonding, and conflict resolution skills. 
Too Good builds the basis for a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment.
Program Materials
Program Materials are sold separately from the training registration. We recommend you purchase your program materials and review them prior to attending the training, but you do not need to bring your materials to the training sessions. Everything you will need to participate in the training will be provided by the trainer.
