Weaving the Fabric of the Future, Jennifer Daley Fine Textiles, Saturday, 22. June 2019

Our collection of natural fiber fabrics for custom garments, home and bath products, and one-of-a-kind replica fabric are on display in our showroom. Throughout the day we will present 15 min talks about forward looking concepts for developing modern, highly functional fabric based on time-honored artisanal know-how. We will discuss this approach in the larger context of regenerative design and permaculture.
Q & A sessions will allow us to talk in more detail about textile development and custom production techniques, focused on quality, beauty and durability in the **** of fast fashion and cheap fabric manufacturing.
The retail studio / showroom is housed in a quaint, 1889 Queen Anne Victorian building with a 1200 sf studio on the ground floor, located in Alameda. Finger food, wine, beer, and cider will be served.
